Club History
Established in 1994, Lindfield FC Juniors is one of the largest junior football clubs in Sussex.
The club is affiliated to the Sussex FA and plays in the Mid Sussex Youth & Minor Football and Sussex Sunday League and Sussex County Women & Girls Football League.
The Club runs boys teams from U6 to U18 and is a ‘feeder club’ to the Lindfield Senior, Haywards Heath, St. Francis Rangers and Burgess Hill Football Clubs, some of our more talented footballers currently play in the Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Brighton & Hove Albion Development Centres.
Lindfield FC Juniors is a key part of the local community and has strong links with all the local schools and other local community football projects.
The aim of the Club is to be a provider of football for the young community of Lindfield, and neighbouring areas, with the emphasis on skill development and competition in an active, fun and social environment.
Lindfield FC Juniors has FA qualified coaches, all of whom are CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) certified, insured for public liability and who follow an F.A. approved code of conduct.
Coaching for all age groups takes place at various local venues on a weekly basis throughout the football season and is an opportunity for players of all abilities to practice together and develop their individual and team skills.
Each age group play competitive matches in one of the local Sussex leagues and each team also has the opportunity to play in cup competitions and regional football festivals.
Every season sees a variety of League and Cup successes for the Club and for individual players, and this is celebrated at our renowned end of season awards night on the local Common.
