About
Lindfield Juniors Football Club has played an important part in our local community for over 40 years. Our players range from 5 years old to 19 years old and we compete in both mixed and girls football leagues across Sussex.
We consider ourselves an inclusive club, focussing primarily on participation above sporting success. This has resulted in LJFC becoming one of the largest clubs in Sussex, housing over 450 players with multiple squads active across every age group. This hasn’t however been a barrier to sporting success with the club winning trophies and building a great reputation year on year.
Our 450+ players are supported and guided by a team of over 50 volunteer coaches, administrators and managers. We support our coaches through their own education and development, ensuring that they have the most up to date coaching skills and techniques at hand so that our children get the most out of their time with us. And our committee works closely with the Football Association, our local leagues, local authorities and funding bodies to ensure that we deliver the best experience to everyone that comes into contact with our club.
We maintain high standards when it comes to the behaviour of our players, officials and parents and whilst there have been rare occasions where these standards have not been achieved our reputation as one of the friendliest, most sporting and most welcoming clubs in the county is proof that we are close to 100% adherence.
